It starts after no moon night when moon is transiting from Virgo to Libra ie from south to west ; as 2/6/10 means south and 3/7/11 means west. This motion is clockwise-pradakshinamarge towards it's natural residence North zone and around the Brahmsthanam as regards Vaastushastra.Its rising from earth to wind and then to enter in water element of the north from northwest zone ; which is again the zone of Moon. Moon means mind , Moon means night and moon in own moods ; hence it's the period of the celestial celebration of "Navratri".When from south to west means it's the period of the blue moon ie celebration. The deity of the first day is Shailputri ie the daughter of mountains ie the state of the river in its purest beginning form .As we know that Ghat-Ghatana-Ghatakash is the Trika-triad of the Vaastushastra, so the Navratri with its nine forms of deities , which begins with the formation of the "Ghat"were seeding of the divine seed of energy ie materialising the energy in the form = Saguna .Anything that starts descending from its natural form , it carries all natural virtues and purity with it.From the mountains of the south this daughter is descending down towards the west ie Rangshala , hence the celebration.Again it is the blue colour that connects you to the vastness of the sky and givership-fulfilment of the thirst by divine grace-which lies in the Water element that too represents the blue tinge in the colour.So today the trataka-meditation on the blue flame or blue moon at the AdnyaChakra point with feel of descending energy from the sky . It's the period of celebration so "no attempt-no exertion" only receiving and experiencing the descend of the divine powers.Mantras are termed as Beej ie seeds that grows in to the tree , that supports the life with divine flowers-fruits-shadow in the ghata of the self-ie first day of ghststhapna-preparation for the receiving of the seed of energy.

Beginning and end are always at the same point . So Navratri is to learn that there is no day and no night too.Every moment it is the end of the day and beginning (NAV)of the night . End of effort and beginning of celebration.As said by the greatest Master Muktabai आदि अंतु बिंबता । न लगे वेऴू
Means when you enter the mode-phase of "no beginning -no end" means you have crossed the frame of time ie rules of Sun are no more applicable to you. So you are beyond the gravitational forces of the earth element, means you have transcended the 2/6/10 Venus-Mercury-Saturn ie shackles of the earth element, ie you have started the journey beyond the desire-vasana kosh.
Navratri means the period to start the journey from "earth to sky "by learning " how to fly ", as moon is transiting from 6 th earth sign to 7 th wind sign ie from "south to west ".So it is the period of celebration of learning to fly and to gather the colours of Nakshatras ,those lie beyond the solar system.

After the journey from mountains , the river enters the phase of uniting self in all its content and streams . So focus on the self existence is the purpose of becoming Brahmchari ni.Once whole journey depends on basic strength and then it's the strength to crack the game of time . Then time is your vehicle and as such it does not exist . As the Ghat has perfect strength and connectivity to the vast sky more than its earthness , happens in connecting to the Wind for new beginning and sky to the total existence.This happens when the Ghat has strength-shape-security and purity; that's the beginning of the Brahmcharini state of dvitiya .The kamandalu-a pot in the hand shows minimal needs and a rosary in the other hand represents unification of all the powers and qualities in the one thread ie Sutra.Its the Sutra that connects the different aspects of the life and make them part of one whole garland . Such a role is termed as "Samhita" , which begins in this role of Brahmcharini.In some texts her clothing is yellow ; representing the connectivity to the Jupiter :Jupiter with its quality of collection and spread of the knowledge-purity-givership.Nine Days-nine forms of deity-nine phases of life-nine dimensions of life Nav Rasas of life that's the enrichment and a perfect programming of the life to decode the Nirguna -Shiva.Its the learning of the software to tune to the mega computer of the Shiva.
It is making of the motherboard in the phase of the Brahmcharini , the motherboard is the part of the computer that wires all other parts of the computer . It is the printed circuit board that includes
CPU and memory. It typically includes expansion options for high-end graphic displays and additional devices; over here that display is of Shiva by additional devices of different Sadhanas.

The first day is of emergence of the life where the movement begins to exist.Its the physical phenomenal existence of the being , like its the period when the soil is wet and formation of the Ghat is just in the preliminary stage.So she is Shailputri.
In the second day it's the period of order and discipline due to which the Ghat is to take the shape.As in Patanjali Sutra it's the second dimension of Niyam.So it is the nurturing of the divine consciousness.So she is Brahmcharini.
On the third day , name of the goddess is "Chandra-Ghanta ".Here the Chandra reflects moon and the ghanta reflects the divine rhythm. So one who gains the divine rhythm, looses the fear . Hence this day the deity is on the back of a tiger with eight hands having all weapons to kill the demons.Grace-bravery-courage are gained by this divine rhythm ie darshan of this deity.By her grace all the sins, distresses, physical sufferings, mental tribulations and ghostly hurdles are eradicated as the divine rhythm synchronises the self to the natural frequency. As such in the Vaastushastra too the prime parameter is Rhythm-Synchronicity and frequency which are gained by the vibrations-waves-sound-light-form-perfection. The Vaastu Purusha Mandal with 10 Sutra devta on each axis of North to South and East to West are nothing but the similar names of the goddesses which represents the Chanels of energies.

The deity of the forth day is related to the Rikta-Tithi , named as Kushmanda (Ku-Shma-Anda ).Its the deity in the Kanyakumari form ; who protects the cosmic egg of Nirmiti by warmth of the motherhood.She created Mahakali from her left eye hence all the secret tantras are termed as Vaam-Tantra.She created Mahalaxmi from her third eye hence unless you use your a different technique you can not get the blessings of the Maa Mahalaxmi.From the glance of her right eye the benevolent lady with complexion of milk was created ie Ma Maha-Sarasvati the goddess of Knowledge and arts.
Kushmanda gives luminosity and brightness to the Sun. When the universe was non existent that time this form of deity gave birth to cosmic egg, bringing light to the universe.She is the first creator of the directions and the Sun , so whatever we speak of directions in Vaastushastra, is the expansion of her.So she can be said as the deity who gave birth to everything and the Vaastushastra too.She gave birth to the Brahma and the lord Vishnu.Rather it can be said that she is the mother of all celestial bodies like the Deity Aditi .
Basically the word egg is used to connect the whole motion to the creativity .She holds two jars of honey ie elixir , which is the essence of the creativity .She is believed to improve the health and bestow wealth and strength.
So Kushmanda is the forth form of the Ma Durga .

The fifth day Panchami is the poorna Tithi which is mostly focused on the comprehensive perception of the truth.The name of goddess here is SkandMata ,a mother of the Great Kartikeya who had six heads , so symbolically she is mother of six shastras -six Darshana (shatshastra-shatdarshana).When Man-Chitt-Buddhi-Aham-Panchdnyanendriyas are tuned to the natural frequency, the sixth dimension of Poorti-Panchami emerges ;which is SkandMata.As such she represents the Brahmsthanam due to its connectivity to Darshana and Shastras Along with her seat is "Lotus".As we know that the Brahma is seated in the "Lotus".
She gives salvation, power, prosperity and treasures to The devotees;brilliance of the sun and oceans of wisdom are the characters of this deity ; which are similar to the Lord Brahma.She is termed as the goddess of Fire , so lights the world by wisdom.She had fight with the Lord Agni and cursed him for stealing the divine ball of energy ; while her unification to lord Shiva; meaning that no one should go against the play of wisdom and positive unification.
