Shiv is the originator of the Tantra as he only shapes the energy in its gross form to merge in the reality as the Shiv ie transformation of the Shakti-Tatva in to Shiva and the merging of the Shiva in to the Shakti .This formation of the Shiva and the Shakti is the incarnation of the Ardh-Nari-Nateshvara ,which happens on the day of the Shivratri ie Shiv-Shakti-Samaveshan.When such reunion with total change in the dimensions of their original nature happens then it is termed as the Bhagy-Kalp.Hence all such acts are termed as the MahaTantra.ShivRatri is called as the Kaal Ratri as in this moment of the day and night ,at the moment of the merging of the day in to night ,the Kaal gets unified with this forth dimension of the reality ie called as the Sachhidanada Avastha ie emergence of the Ardh Nari Nateshvara in its cosmic dance of the transformations.It is the state of Dikkaal ,means entering in to the state where time and direction merge to give the new reality .
