21/08/15 9:33:30 am: NHS: Actually the sutra contains mention of fifth state called as Abhoga i e Tuttyateetah ;which exists by itself and not outof the initial four stages..This is very much clear when you see these sutras through the Vaastu -Eye.
In Vaastu the whole Jagruti is related to the southeast region as it contains the combination of east and south i.e. Fire and Earth i.e. Ego and Desire .Everybody is awake when gets hurt to ego and break in desire.But we forget the connectivity to the central zone brahma and all other directions ; so we creat such division and disintegration.
The next state Svapna-dreaming is connected to the Southwest zone; which is a combination of desire and intelligence i e Vasana and Buddhi.Here lies the plan of power , ambition and pleasures in correlation to the combination of Shrungarshala and Rangshala.Romance and Romantisism leads to the Svapnah-Dreaming.
The next state is Sushupti -a deep sleep like experience.Where there is Svara Sangeet Shruti and base of Svapna state there emerges this state of loss of self .Svara Sangeet Shruti are the positive form of Vaayutatva which lies in Northwest zone.
The forth state of Turya i e Chaturyat ; of which first cha and last t have gone to form the word Turya;is the gift of Northeast zone where all questions related to Kohum end in the result of Sohum.All enquiry ends in silence i e Moun ; which is the zone of unification of Mind faculty of North and Dhi-intelligence faculty of East .But the power to enjoy all this Bhog-Experience lies in the central Transformer-Transmitter-Generator named as the Brahma ; which is the fifth state Abhoga ..possible by everlasting connectivity to the Lord Brahma.Unless there is Abhoga (power to experience the bhoga) rest of the four states carry no meaning.The home without the activation of the central zone -Brahma is a big void.This is the real meaning of five states of consciousness.
