The interplay of gunn defines the character of the person and of even of event too.This interplay has many dimensions like to its constitution five great elements are responsible too.Interplay of five great elements in the surroundings and their effect on the four pillars of consciousness is the subject of the Vaastu Shastra.Elements are placed in four corners are these elements get their energy from the connected energy zone of the main direction.For example north supplies the water energy-jaivik urja to the northeast zone ;where lies the water element.So main directions are related to energy and subdirections are related to confluence of two streams and elements too.If east contains a fault then it creat the poison arrows,which on anti-clockwise path ,disturb the constitution of the northeast zone ..likewise applicable to all directions and elements.
As said in the Samkhya-Mat that each entity has differential character as per the different combination and permutation of the Gunn ie elements.So gets reflected in the formation of the vaastu Purusha Mandala .
